The College will provide all the apps, software, services, and configuration required for your child’s MacBook to fully function as a learning tool.
The process of installing these components is referred to as 'enrolling' the device into the College's BYODD MacBook Program.
The ICLT team will publish a detailed BYODD MacBook Program Enrolment Guide that provides step-by-step instructions on completing the device enrolment process. This Guide will be emailed out to families in the weeks leading up to Term 1, 2026, and will be accompanied by your child's individual student account details.
We strongly encourage all families to try and complete the MacBook Enrolment process before the start of Term 1, as this will allow your child to make the most out of Bootcamp.
A link to the Enrolment Guide will be added to this page once published.
We understand that for many families, Year 7 may be the first time you and your child are exposed to a Mac device and software, and appreciate this can sometimes be a confusing time.
In addition to the detailed Enrolment Guide, the ICLT team will also offer a drop-in support session prior to the start of Term 1, 2026 that is open to all of our Year 7 2026 students.
Whether you ran into problems enrolling the Mac yourself, or you're not sure where to start, this session will provide families an opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance with their devices and the enrolment process. It will also give you a a chance to ask the ICLT team any questions you may have regarding the BYODD MacBook Program.
More information about this session, including the date and time, will be communicated to families toward the end of Term 4, 2025.
