The College will provide all the apps, software, services, and configuration required for your child’s MacBook to fully function as a learning tool.
The process of installing these components is referred to as 'enrolling' the device into the College's BYODD MacBook Program.
The ICLT team has created detailed BYODD MacBook Program Enrolment Guide that provides step-by-step instructions on completing the device enrolment process, which has been emailed out to families via Compass. This will be accompanied by your child's individual CEDoW student account letter, which will contain their unique email address, username & password used to access College apps and services.
You can access a copy of the guide here:
Year 7 2026 BYODD MacBook Enrolment Guide
We strongly encourage all families to try and complete the MacBook Enrolment process before the start of Term 1, as this will allow your child to make the most out of Bootcamp.
If you have any questions regarding any of the information above, are experiencing issues with a BYODD MacBook, can't sign in to your account, or just have a general ICLT enquiry, please visit the IT Support page and submit a request form. If you are unable to access or fill out this form, please email help@sbccdow.catholic.edu.au instead. A support ticket will be created for you and a member of the IT Support team will be in contact once we have reviewed your request. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.
While we will strive to ensure that all student devices are enrolled in the BYODD Program in a timely manner, we ask for your support, patience, and understanding during this busy period. We respectfully ask that you do not call the College to request IT Support at this time as this prevents us from being able to fairly support all students and families who need assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
